Full description:

-Depart Siem Reap at 7:00AM with A/C vehicle and guide for Anlong Veng (120km, 2,5-hour drive), explore the Khmer Rouge’s final stronghold And descend to Preah vihea temple(optional). The journey passing countryside dotting with palm trees and rice paddies, our fisrt stop at Tamok’s home which was owned by a top rank of The Khmer Rouge commander number 5, there is always a dark history and Tamok’s house is a part of the tragic history of Cambodia. Pol pot’s Cremation Site stands at the overgrown jungle clearing where the regime’s leader was hastily cremated in 1998. See tire marks from his transport and a makeshift shrine, see his last bunker and home on the mountain cliff viewpoint stronghold and Son Sen’s Execution Site and militaries bunkers.

-Savor authentic Khmer lunch at local restaurant on Thailand-Cambodia border (cliff-top terrace).

we then continue our journey descend to Preah Vihear temple(optional), a long way of our drive is extremely remote and strongly forested, providing many natural sights and places to view along the way. On arriving Preah vihear, you will witness the true beauty and grandeur of its site which is bordered Cambodia-Thailand.

Once we arrived, we process to take 4-WD vehicle climbing up the mountain top in a between 500m-700m height and exploring the temple of Preah Vihea on top of Dang Rek mountain, where bordering Cambodia-Thailand, which  provides the spectacular landscape, learn from tour guide about temple history as we stroll around to take picturesque photos of the most spectacular setting of the temple observe the beautiful surroundings with 360 degree views.

Preah Vihear is an ancient Hindu temple built by Khmer empire, located on the top of Dang Rek mountain 500m and 700m cliff in northern part of Cambodia along Thai border.

The Cambodia-Thai border dispute began in june 2008 as part a century-long dispute between Cambodia and Thailand involving the area surrounding of Preah vihea temple and Dangrek mountain. The dispute started on 22 of June 2008 and ended on 15 of December 2011. The result ICJ decision awards promontory of Preah Vihear to Cambodia.
